Ratahi is a true Tauranga icon! Our trips are legendary since 1938. 

This 15‑metre traditional line‑fishing vessel offers wrap‑around seating and plenty of space, shelter from the sun and a great platform to fish from.

Known as the Lucky Ratahi, she has been operating in Tauranga since 1938 and remains a favourite for anglers chasing a classic Kiwi fishing experience.

We encourage children and families on public trips. In fact we have Grandads and Grandmas who learned to fish on Ratahi when they were children. During the school holidays we also offer discounted ‘Kid’s Fishing Trips’ with shorter hours.

Whether it is just you wanting to join others on a public fishing trip from Tauranga, a small group wanting a day out to fit in with your timeframe and fishing requirements or a large group wanting to get together, we can cater for you.

It could be a mates’ day out, a Stag/Hen Do, a work function, harbour cruise, birthday party or celebration, just give us a call and we will make a plan for your day out.

We are also offering ‘High Tea Cruises‘ over summer.
